KCCA FC midfielders Muzamir Mutyaba and Julius Poloto have returned to full fitness ahead of Uganda Premier League and CAF Champions league engagements.
Mutyaba has been out of action for five weeks and has not played for KCCA FC since 23rd December 2017 against Express while Poloto has been out for three weeks and last played for the club on 10th February against CNaPS away in Madagasacr a game in which he provided the assist for Derrick Nsibambi’s maiden goal.
Both players are now fully fit to play the game of football after undergoing two weeks of intense rehabilitation, they spoke to the KCCA FC media about their return and expressed how they felt about the return
First of all, I want to thank God, my coaches, the club physios and my fellow players that am able to kick a ball again. In football you have to be on the field for you to carry any water, and the time I have been out it’s been a tough moment but that’s all gone I am back now and ready to go again, said Mutyaba
Being out of the game for a while is the worst thing for an athlete, you look at your colleagues out there playing and enjoying the sport and you cannot wait to get back to the field of play. But that’s all in the past I am back to play my best sport and I cannot wait to take to the field, said Poloto
Both players have been named in the KCCA FC squad to play against Soana Fc at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo on Saturday 3/3/2018.
