Suspended from Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club Football Club’s (KCCA FC) opening game of the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup Group Stages tie against FUS Rabat, skipper Dennis Okot has a message for his teammates.

Okot wants to see KCCA FC players play their hearts out for the fans and the country at large, having faced a number of challenges before they qualified for this stage.

Not so many people thought we would go out there and do it, get this far, and that kept on driving us to give our best,

Okot told www.kccafc.co.ug as the team left on Wednesday afternoon before, he then added.

I have faith and believe in the team to go out there and give their best for the fans back home and the country at large, nothing can stop us from getting a result.

Okot has just guided KCCA FC to a 12th league title and are already into the semifinals of the 2017 FUFA uganda Cup already.

Playing at this stage on the continent is a remarkable feeling for him, though a little dissapointed he missed out on the first game.

Of course I feel bad, I really wanted to be with the team in Morocco but the many yellow cards couldn’t allow me, none the less, I will be cheering the team as I look forward to the next games.

Together with Okot is his assistant and first choice goalie Benjamin Ochan who is also suspended for this tie.

Muzamir Mutyaba and Paul Mucureezi miss out through injury while Allan Okello has school commimtnets.

KCCA FC and FUS Rabat are in Group A alongside Rivers United and Club Africane of Nigeria and Tunisia respectively.
