New Signing: KCCA FC is the right place for me to develop further – Aheebwa

KCCA FC’s new signing Brian Aheebwa has stated why he had to join KCCA FC and what it means for the player.

The goal poacher spoke to in his first interview with the club and had this to say;

I am grateful to God and the club for believing in me and seeking for my services.

To be honest I was so delighted when I got to know that the club was interested in me.

Brian Aheebwa

KCCA FC is a top club on the continent and it is every player’s dream to play for a club as big as this one.

Aheebwa, a clinical officer by profession scored 8 goals in the league, 3 goals in Uganda Cup, 1 goal in the Pilsner Super 8 and bagged a total of 10 assists for his former club Mbarara City FC last term and his form earned him his second National team call.

Joining KCCA FC was not an easy decision to make given my strong ties in the west but I had to make the hard decision for the wellness of my career.

Brian Aheebwa

I feel delighted that I am going to work with the best in the business. Best players, best coaches and best management in the region.

I want to be the top scorer of the league, and add value to KCCA FC by helping the team to qualify for the group stages of the CAF confederation Cup.

The competition at KCCA FC is top and that means a player has got to give his best in every training session to impress the coaches. I know the task at hand and I am ready to take it on.

I have been told about the great fans that the club has and I cannot wait to put a smile on their faces.

Brian Aheebwa

I have read some history about this football club and its rich crop of legends like Jackson Mayanja, Tom Lwanga, the late Omondi and Kirunda. It is surely one that gets the hairs on the back of your neck standing.

I have not come here to fit in anyone’s shoes, I have come here to play football and win trophies for this football club.

The 22 year old forward will be a KCCA FC player till July 2023.
