Kigozi Samson has penned a 3-year contract that will run from August 2020 till August 2023
The winger who scored a total of 5 goals in all competitions for Police FC last term spoke to www.kccafc.co.ug about his move and said
I feel so happy to join KCCA FC. It is a dream come true. This is a team of trophies with great players and coaches and with great history and success.
I want to play at the high level, I want to compete with the best on the continent and at KCCA FC I have a chance to play in CAF Competitions.
This will give me more exposure as a player. The fans should expect a hardworking man and one who is ready to help the team achieve its goals.
Kigozi was part of the Uganda Cranes side that was preparing for the CHAN 2020 finals before the tournament was suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Samson will definitely boost Mike Mutebi’s options upfront since the club will be involved in CAF Confederation Cup, Uganda Premier League, Uganda Cup and other competitions next term.
Kigozi joins six other signings KCCA FC has made this transfer window including; Lwanga Charles, Mugume Ashraf, Mazengo Stefano, Iguma Denis, Bright Anukani and Brian Aheebwa.
