KCCA FC lost 1-2 to Vipers SC at MTN-Omondi Stadium, Lugogo and kept in fourth place on 37 points.
The loss means KCCA FC are 13 points behind log leaders URA FC with 8 league games to play.
Early in the game, Achai and Poloto combined to tee up Sadat Anaku whose fierce shot flew over the cross bar inside 6 minutes.
At the half hour mark, Vipers’ skipper Halid Lwaliwa was then cautioned for a foul on Achai Herbert.
After recess, a lapse in concentration cost KCCA FC as they went behind in a space of two minutes.
Yunus Ssentamu and Milton Karisa scored in 50th and 52nd minutes to give the visitors the lead.
Morley Byekwaso then rung the changes. Introducing Aliro, Kigozi and Anukani for Jurua, Mugume and Gift Ali.
The substitutes brought in more life to the game and immediately KCCA FC pulled one back from a back heel finish by Dennis Iguma.
In 77th minute, Anukani Bright curled in a free kick but it flew past the frame of the goal.
Achai could have tied the score after he controlled well Aliro’s pass but his finish went over the bar in the 82nd minute.
Juma Balinya replaced Julius Poloto in the 87th minute but it was too late for an impact to be made in the game.

KCCA FC play Police FC next in the league on Wednesday and later host Kyetume FC on Sunday 16th May 2021 at Lugogo.
