KCCA FC back home, to continue pre season

The entire KCCA FC traveling squad returned home from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where the club had pitched a pre season camp for one week.

KCCA FC had initially traveled to Dar es Salaam to compete in the CECAFA Kagame Cup. Following the exit from the competition, the management decided that the team pitches a pre season camp in the capital of Tanzania.

The aim was to grow the team cohesion and bond better, and also give more game time to players.

During the pre season camp, KCCA FC played a friendly game with Rangers FC a game the Kasasiro Boys won 6-0 at Uhuru Stadium.

The club was hosted at Avic City, Yanga SC’s training complex.

A day before the team returned to Uganda, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by both clubs to ensure mutual affiliation and relationship building.

PRE SEASON CONTINUES.

The club is to resume pre season practice on Wednesday 18th August 2021 at MTN-Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

A number of players that did not travel to Dar es Salaam for CECAFA are expected to show up on Wednesday.

These include Sadat Anaku, Mazengo Stefano, Kafumbe Joseph, Hassan Musana, Kizza Joseph Bukenya, Ayella Dominic and new signing Usama Arafati.

Soccer Academy players Mwanje Elvis, Opio Sunday and Otim Jerome are also expected to show up for pre season training on Wednesday.

The club has set it’s focus on the Super 8 tournament ahead of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League that commences in October 2021.
