KCCA FC to wear jerseys with “Smart City” in awareness drive for first five games | UPL

For the first five league games, KCCA FC will wear jerseys with “Smart City” to create awareness about the City Campaign.

KCCA FC first five games will be against Wakiso Giants (A), Gaddafi FC (H), Busoga United FC (H), Tooro United FC (H) and Soltilo BrightStars FC (A).

In September 2021, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) unveiled a range of IT-enabled interventions aimed at making life better for all city residents. “Smart City” was among these.

To have a “Smart City” KCCA came up with an acronym named TAWT to champion the City Campaign.

TAWT stands for Think smart, Act smart, Work smart and Talk smart.”

During the launch of this campaign the following officials made their reactions;

According to Ms Dorothy Kisaka , the Executive Director, Kampala has a Smart City Acronym ” TAWT” which she explained as Kampala residents being “smart in the way they Think, Act, Work and Talk. KCCA FC will kick off the 2021/22 season against Wakiso Giants FC away in Wakiso on Sunday 17th October 2021.
