KCCA FC picked a routine win against Police FC in Lugogo.
The Cops took an early lead in the 5th minute through Juma Balinya who slotted from the penalty spot after Samson Kigozi had brought down Tonny Mawejje in the box.
KCCA FC replied through Davis Kasirye who nodded home from an inch perfect cross off Samson Kigozi to level matters in the 17th minute.
Charles Lwanga then doubled KCCA’s lead in the 25th minute. The forward reacted fastest to tap home after Ikara spilled a stinging shot from Majwega Brian.
Kigozi Samson was then rested by the Gaffer and he introduced Bukenya Kizza Joseph in the 27th team.
Mato Rogers was cautioned for a foul on Duncan Sseninde in the 32nd minute.
2-1 at halftime.
After recess, Lwanga had the chance to extend KCCA FC’s lead but his effort was parried wide by Police’s Ikara.
Two minutes after the hour mark, Bukenya Joseph was cautioned for a foul on an opposition player.
The Gaffer then rung some changes introducing Brian Aheebwa and Sam Ssenyonjo for Davis Kasirye and Charles Lwanga in the 70th minute.
In the 83rd minute, Andrew Kawooya and Ibrahim Juma replaced Bukenya Joseph and Brian Majwega.
Kawooya had immediate impact on the game with some quick interchange of passes with Juma Ibrahim but the former’s effort flew over the frame of the goal.
In the 87th minute, Mato Rogers, sealed it for KCCA FC when he held his nerve to slot past Ikara after Kawooya had fed him with a million dollar pass in the build up to his goal.
3-1 the final score.

KCCA FC now have 8 wins and two draws from the opening 10 games. The Kasasiro boys are the only side that have not lost a game this term.
