KCCA FC, SC Villa shared spoils in goalless draw that was played on Saturday at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

KCCA’s Kaddu Patrick had the game’s first moment of offensive promise but Villa custodian Ssenkooto saved his effort in the 5th minute.

In the 10th minute, quick interplay between Kaddu and Revita had the latter tee up Wafula whose cross flew across the goal mouth and wide.

Anaku should have opened the score in the 14th minute after he controlled Usama’s pass but his touch was a little heavy and was blocked by Villa’s Ssenkooto.

The forward had his chance parried away three minutes later after he had smartly won possession from deep in the midfield.

Usama tested Villa’s custodian with a fierce shot but the man in goal was equal to the task and saved in 23rd minute.

Mato Rogers replaced Julius Poloto after the winger had picked a muscle injury, 5 minutes to the end of the first half.

Goalless at the break.

Sadat Anaku attempts to beat his opponents in the KCCA FC vs SC Villa game at Lugogo

After recess, Villa’s Amir Kakomo and Joseph Kafumbe were cautioned for dangerous fouls in the 52nd and 62nd minutes of the game.

Kafumbe was later sent off after receiving a second booking in the 68th minute.

Erisa Ssekisambu replaced Usama in the 70th minute as the heavens let loose at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Brian Aheebwa later replaced John Revita in the 82nd minute.

Goalless after 90 minutes.

KCCA FC dropping two points at home and maintaining second position on the table on 41 points, just two points behind leaders Vipers.

KCCA FC will play Police FC next on Tuesday 15th March 2022 at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
