Teenager Saidi Mayanja has penned a 5-year deal with KCCA FC from 2022 – 2027.
The contract is with effect July 2022 – 2027.
Saidi, 18, is a versatile midfielder who can play central as well as defensive midfield.
Mayanja is a former Edgar’s FC and Mydel Academy player.
He will be competing for a spot in the squad with the likes of Moses Waiswa, Faisal Wabyoona, Ashraf Mugume, and Emmanuel Wasswa among other players.

I am overjoyed to sign for KCCA FC. When the Manager told me he wants to work with me, i just could not hesistate. This is a very big club and I could not resist the opportunity to play for it. I know the competition here is pretty stiff since i have been training with club for a while but I am ready for it. I am here to compete just like all other players in the squad.

Saidi Mayanja is currently in his first year, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Art and Design at Kampala University.
Mayanja becomes the third player to join KCCA FC in this transfer window after Moses Waiswa and fellow teenager Faisal Wabyoona respectively.
