KCCA FC will travel to Mbale City in the eastern part of Uganda to participate in Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
The 13-time Uganda Premier League Champions travel to Mbale on 8th September 2022 and will take part in a number of activities including charity and playing a football match in the eastern region among others.
The residents of Mbale City were hit by a tragedy about a month ago when Nabuyonga River flooded causing loss of lives and destruction of property.
Upon arrival in Mbale, the KCCA FC team together with hosts Mbale Garage Football Club shall carry out a tree planting session.
The objective is to restore nature in the areas that were affected by the Nabuyonga floods.
Other basic needs will be handed to the victims of the Nabuyonga floods.
KCCA FC will also play a football match against the eastern regional league side, Mbale Garage Football Club on Friday 9th September 2022 at Mbale Stadium.
This is a charity game that is aimed at providing basic needs of life to the many families that were affected by the floods in the Elgon region on the 1st of August 2022.
The objective is to restore the hearts of the victims of these floods and the people of Mbale in general.
All the proceeds from the gate collection on Friday 9th September at Mbale Stadium shall be used to purchase various basic needs to be distributed to the victims of the floods.
A team of 38 people that entails Admin staff, Technical team, and Players will travel for this cause and these are;
