KCCA FC pitted against Kataka in round of 32 | Stanbic Uganda Cup

KCCA FC has been pitted against Kataka FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The round of 32 draw was held on Friday 10th February at FUFA Complex, Mengo.

The function was conducted by FUFA EXCO Member Rogers Mulindwa who is also the chairperson of the FUFA Club Licensing committee. He was flanked by FUFA Deputy CEO-Football Decolas Kiiza and FUFA Competitions Director Aisha Nalule.

Kataka FC lost to to Gorilla Highlands SC in the round of 64 but the former petitioned Gorilla Highlands for allegedly fielding ineligible players.

After investigation, FUFA found out that the Gorilla Highlands SC had used ineligible players and thus were replaced by Kataka FC for the round of 32.

Big League side Kataka FC will host KCCA FC in the round of 32 of the 49th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Sunday 19th February 2023 at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.

The round of 32 games will be played between 13th -20th February.
