Both Lwanga and Aheebwa had clear cut chances and should have stretched KCCA’s lead in the first half but thanks to the hosts’ goal keeper who kept his side in the game in the opening stanza.

Emmanuel Wasswa would later get cautioned for a foul on an opponent.

In the 53rd minute, Mato’s solo run down the left wing resulted into him teeing up Lwanga who slotted home the second for KCCA FC.

Morley Byekwaso made some changes, introducing, Moses Waiswa, Tshisungu Kankonde and Shaban Muhammad for Dominic Ayella, Brian Aheebwa and Charles Lwanga in the 68th minute.
