KCCA FC were 2-1 winners over SC Villa in the previous league game at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

The Cityzens will be hoping they can pick their second win away from home in as many games for the first time this season.

KCCA FC were 1-0 winners over UPDF FC in Bombo last term. The army side would later force a stalemate in a late-drama encounter at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, in the second leg.

The 13-time Uganda Premier League Champions will be hoping they can win their third game in a row for the first time this term when they visit UPDF in Bombo in the final fixture for either side in 2023.

Peter Magambo

Kizza Mustafa is ruled out of the trip to Bombo. The left back pulled a hamstring in the build-up to the derby game against SC Villa and has since been involved in light training.

Julius Poloto and Peter Magambo are involved in light training. The pair has been working on the sidelines and has yet to take part in full team training.

Emilson Gonzaga is ruled out due to a long-term injury.

We are focused on taking it a game at a time. Our focus is to ensure that we perform better than we did in the previous game. We have emphasized it to the players that we need to work as a unit and togetherness will be an important aspect for us this season. Kizza and Magambo are ruled out but the rest of the players are in contention to feature against UPDF FC.
