Midfielder Joel Sserunjogi, and forward Shaban Muhammad have been summoned to the senior men’s side, the Uganda Cranes, ahead of the world cup qualifiers in June 2024.
Uganda Cranes tactician Put Paul Joseph summoned a squad of 28 players to embark on preparations for the forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
The coach announced the squad on Thursday in a press conference held at the FUFA Complex in Mengo, Kampala.
Uganda will return to Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, for the first time since November 2019.
The first game against Botswana will be played on June 7th, before taking on Algeria on June 10th, 2024.
Both games will kick off at 7:00 EAT.
The team is expected to enter residential camp on May 30th, 2024.
