KCCA FC Soccer Academy plays BUL FC JT in the Final of the 7th edition of the FUFA Junior League.
It is the fourth FUFA Juniors League final KCCA FC Soccer Academy will be playing since its inception in 2014.
KCCA FC SA played finals against Vipers SC JT in 2015, Soana in 2016/17, and BUL FC JT in 2019 but lost all of them.
However, no Ugandan football side has promoted players from their junior side like KCCA FC has done.
Since 2014, over 30 players have crossed from the KCCA FC Soccer Academy side to the senior team.
The main objective of the club is to promote players from the junior side to the senior side. We want to nurture players that will be able to serve the club for many years to come. For the final, we want to go out there and enjoy ourselves and cherish being in the final. We shall compete favorably, and hopefully we can win our first FUFA Juniors League title on Sunday.

Out of the 18 games KCCA FC SA has played in this year’s edition, they have won 12 games, drawn 3 and lost twice. One match was abandoned.
KCCA FC SA have won 8 games with a bonus point. A bonus point win in the FUFA Juniors League refers to a match won with a goal difference of two goals or more.
Two players from the current KCCA FC Soccer Academy team, Ismael Fahad and Brian Ijara have already made the matchday squad for the senior team. The pair were on the matchday squad for KCCA FC in the FUFA Super 8 – fifth place match against NEC FC on 31st August 2024.
Among this year’s notable players has been forward Yian Gatbel who has scored 13 goals and is currently the top scorer of the FUFA Juniors League.
This will be the second time KCCA FC will be facing BUL FC JT in the final of the FUFA Juniors League. The first time was in 2019, when KCCA FC lost 3-0 to BUL FC JT at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
