Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club is set to organize a “KCCA FC Day” ahead of the new season. The event, which is themed ‘Ekiri e Lugogo’ will be held on Tuesday, 10th September 2024 at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
The day will feature a number of activities, including unveiling the 2024/25 squad to KCCA FC stakeholders, a football match between KCCA FC Legends and Uganda Cranes Ex Internationals, and unveiling the official 2024/25 jersey.
Speaking about this event, the KCCA FC CEO said;
The event will be happening for the second time in as many years. Just like we did last year, this is a way for the club to connect with its fans and supporters. “We want to give our fans and supporters a chance to come together and celebrate the club ahead of the 2024/25 season. The player unveiling event and the friendly match between our legends and ex internationals are opportunities where we seek to renew the memories of the yesteryears. We shall also be unveiling our jersey for the 2024/25 season.

The event is expected to attract thousands of fans like it was last year from all over Uganda.
The difference this time around is the event is FREE OF CHARGE for all KCCA FC fans and well wishers.
Why KCCA FC is Organizing a “KCCA FC Day”?
Just like we did last year, KCCA FC is organizing “KCCA FC Day” for a number of reasons. First, the event is a way for the club to connect with its fans and supporters. KCCA FC has a large and passionate fan base, and the event will give fans a chance to come together and celebrate the club.
Secondly, the event will have a friendly game between KCCA FC Legends and Ex Internationals at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The event is a way for KCCA FC to promote the club and its brand. The event will be a great opportunity for the club to showcase itself to a wider audience.
Unveiling the 2024/25 jersey and squad
The 2024/25 jersey is also set to be launched on KCCA FC Day.
The friendly game between the KCCA FC Legends and Uganda Cranes ex-internationals will be the culmination of the day’s activities, and all this will be at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
Lots of entertainment has been lined up on the day.
Like it was promised last year, the KCCA FC Day event is and will be an annual event ahead of the forthcoming season.
