Here is a summary of all the transfers for KCCA FC for the just concluded mid-season transfer period.

INS

Umar Lutalo has joined KCCA FC from Kitara FC. The midfielder featured for Kitara in the first round of the 2024/25 season. He has signed a deal with KCCA FC until the end of the 2024–25 season, however, his contract has an option for further extension.

He will largely compete for a position with the likes of Bright Anukani, Sharifu Ssengendo, Saidi Mayanja, Ashraf Mugume, and Steven Munguchi in the attacking midfield role.

HANDED MINORS CONTRACTS

Teenagers Yian Gatbel and Brain Jjara have been handed minors’ contracts.

A minor’s contract is handed to a player under 18 years with the consent of a parent or guardian.

The pair are players of the KCCA FC Soccer Academy, but their impressive development has had them granted game time with the senior team this season.

Brain Jjara, a defensive midfielder, has featured in two StarTimes Uganda Premier League games against Maroons FC and Mbarara City FC away, putting up a man-of-the-match performance in both games. He also featured in the game against 403 Brigade FC in the round of 64 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Yian Gatbel, who was named the top scorer of the FUFA Juniors League 2024 with 13 goals, recently made his senior debut for KCCA FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup against 403 Brigade FC.

The duo has a clause in their contracts that gives KCCA FC the first option for a senior contract when they make 18 years.
