KCCA FC takes on Paidha Black Angels this Thursday at Betway Greenlight stadium in Arua seeking to win the 9th FUFA Uganda Cup title in history.

Most importantly, if KCCA FC win the title come Thursday, the team would have clinched their first ever domestic double.

The Lord Mayor who is also the life Patron of KCCA FC  first made a token of appreciation to the team for defending the league title before he went ahead to indicate he will be down in Arua to cheer on the boys.

On a rather happy note, I wish to congratulate our gallant KCCA FC boys upon successfully defending the Azam Uganda Premier League title in the just concluded season

The Lord Mayor said in an Authority meeting on Monday, before intimating to www.kccafc.co.ug.

We are looking forward to making a historic record in Aria on Thursday this week when we trounce Paidha Black Angels in the finals of the Fufa Uganda Cup to become a SSALONGO and I hope to go and cheer the boys

Lukwago went ahead to point out the success the team has gained on the continent becoming the first Ugandan side to play at the group stages of a continental tournament since change of format.

It is equally gratifying to note that we are shining in the continental tournament, the Confederation Cup winning 2 of the 3 games so far played. Our boys have certainly brought us glory and honour. They deserve a pat on the back

The KCCA Executive Director Jennifer Musisi was the first to confirm she will go to Arua to be part of history.
