Allan Kateregga came off the bench to make his Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) debut against Uganda Revenue Authority (URA FC) on Wednesday at Namboole in the Azam Uganda Premier league tie.

Kateregga also nicknamed the ‘Dancing Rasta’ replaced Jackson Nunda at the beginning of the second half and did put up some enterprising displays in the 0-0 tie.

He was actually impressed with his own performance on the day and is looking forward to more in his four months loan spell with the league champions.

I gave my best, but maybe it wasn’t good enough since the team only picked a point yet we really wanted three points. But by and large am happy to have gotten some minutes.

On how to continue getting playing time, the attacking midfielder knows exactly what to do as KCCA FC look at winning a third straight league title and a 12th in general.

I just have to continue working hard to get used to the style of the play with my teammates and also earn the trust of my coaches

The manager Mike Mutebi was equally impressed by Kateregga’s debut as he looks at strengthening his team especially going forward.

He performed fairly well, you can see he was trying to adapt to the way we play which is a good thing, more time in practice will surely get him to the level we want him to be

As the league takes two weeks break because of international engagements, Kateregga and team will also have time to work on getting their form back to where it was supposed to be.
