On June 1st, 2017 Philip Omondi Stadium changed names to StarTimes Stadium, a name the grounds for the reigning champions of the Uganda Premier League will hold until July 31st 2021.

On Wednesday the StarTimes Stadium name was finally launched by sports minister Hon Charles Bakabulindi and caught some of those moments on camera.

It was full house at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo was KCCA FC beat Police 2-0, on the same day, the name StarTimes Stadium was officially launched.
