KCCA FC 3-2 POLICE FC

STARTIMES STADIUM, LUGOGO, 4pm

KCCA FC turned the game around and picked maximum points against Police FC at Startimes Stadium, Lugogo in the Startimes Uganda Premier League.

The Champions fielded mostly players that do not get to play often given the fact that five players were away on National duty in Katakwi.

The cops drew first blood through forward Ben Ocen in the 17th minute who slotted past Jamil Malyamungu who was making his first start in the league this season.

Four minutes later, Jackson Nunda drew the tie level with a beauty of a finish off the outside of his left boot.

But three minutes later, a lapse in concentration saw KCCA FC conceding again from a well-struck shot from the 18-yard mark by Pius Kagwa past custodian Malyamungu.

Police’s Sylvester Semakula and Ben Ocen were then cautioned before the restart.

After recess, Mike Mutyaba paved way for Erisa Sekisambu and later teenager Steven Serwadda was substituted for teenager Sadat Anaku.

At the 70 minute mark, Sekisambu played a good ball to Nunda who drilled it past cops custodian Mutebi to draw the tie level for the second time in the game.

Teenager Musa Ramathan then paved way for Filbert Obenchan.

With 12 minutes left, Achai crossed beautifully in the box to Obenchan who flicked to Sekisambu who nodded home the third for KCCA FC.

In the 86th minute, Sekisambu was fouled in the box and the referee gave a penalty to KCCA FC.
