Six KCCA FC players named in final CECAFA squad

Six KCCA FC players have been named in the final 20 man squad for the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup starting from 7th – 19th December 2019.

The six are; club skipper and custodian Charles Lukwago who is likely to be the Cranes’ first choice between the sticks in the tournament.

Charles Lukwago is part of the 20 man squad for CECAFA

John Revita and Mustafa Kizza represent the defense department of the club in the Cranes squad.

Midfield gems Muzamiru Mutyaba and Nicholas Kasozi are the other two players part of the 20 man squad.

Teenage prodigy Allan Okello completes the equation and has been named among the forwards in this particular tournament.

Uganda Cranes is in Group A alongside Burundi, Somalia, Eritrea, and Djibouti.

The opening match is against Burundi on Saturday 7th December at 4:00 pm at the StarTimes at Stadium Lugogo.

The Cranes will face Somalia in the second game on Monday 9th December before playing against Eritrea and Djibouti on Wednesday 11th and Sunday 15th December respectively.

Goalkeepers; Charles Lukwago (KCCCA FC) and Joel Mutakubwa (Kyetume FC)

Defenders: Paul Willa (Vipers SC), Mustafa Kizza (KCCA FC), John Revita (KCCA FC), Musitafa Mujuzi (Proline FC), Halid Lwaliwa (Vipers SC) (Capt), Paul Mbowa (URA FC).
