KCCA FC gaffer Mike Mutebi has come out to applaud his players after they bounced back to winning ways following the win against Tooro United FC.
KCCA FC had lost their previous game against Brightstars away, which dented their title defending hopes.
Teenager Opio Sunday popped up in the 17th minute and fired home the game’s lone strike that gave KCCA FC the three points and narrowing the gap between KCCA FC and log leaders Vipers to four points.
The win is very key in our run in to try to defend the league. We are operating at 45% but still doing well. The boys were using the ball better and displayed a beautiful brand of football on the day.
Mike Mutebi added,
If we can better our conversion rate then we shall be unplayable. We shall keep working on that challenge until we find a solution to it.
KCCA FC plays CATIDA FC next on 24th January 2020 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup a competition that the lugogo based side has won for a record 10 times since its inception.
