KCCA FC vs Maroons FC| 4: 00 pm (EAT) | Startimes Uganda Premier League
STARTIMES STADIUM, LUGOGO
KCCA FC will host 10th placed Maroons at Startimes Stadium, Lugogo in-game day 21 of the league this term.
KCCA were 3-1 winners against the prison side in the reverse fixture held at Luzira grounds.
The visitors have picked up only one win in the second round and won twice so far on the road this term.
In the last seven matches played between both clubs, KCCA has picked up five wins and shared spoils twice. Maroons has not won against KCCA FC in the last seven matches.
KCCA FC’s previous league game produced a huge setback when midfielder Julius Poloto and defender John Revita limped off injured. The extent of their absence is not known as yet but it is certain they will not feature against the prison side.
Revita’s absence means Kato, Obenchan or Magambo will start at the heart of the defense against Maroons FC.
Mike Mutebi’s side is faced with a huge injury dilemma at the club. With Anaku, Muzamiru, Revita, Poloto, Nunda, Jurua and Odumegwu injured, Ssenyonjo without a league license, the Gaffer’s firepower upfront could be short of spark.
Moses Aliro is likely to feature upfront in a three-man attack alongside Mike Mutyaba and Erisa Sekisambu. The pint-sized man was fielded as a rightwinger and had a fine outing against the tax collectors.
Magambo Peter will make his fifth start on the bounce alongside Kato or Obenchan in the presence of John Revita
The defending Champions have scored the most goals this term, 38 and conceded 19 times in the twenty games played so far this season and also boast of the best goal difference at 19+
With 10 games to the end of the league, KCCA FC can not afford to drop points especially at home against Maroons FC a side the Champions have bossed in the previous seven fixtures.
