KCCA FC Soccer Academy striker Sadat Anaku has sent an early warning to rivals after the 8-0 rout against Police Armless Brigade and 3-1 win against Ndejje University FC Junior Team in the FUFA Juniors League opening two fixtures.
Anaku who scored four goals against Police in the opening fixture this season and two goals against Ndejje University spoke to www.kccafc.co.ug and had this to say;
Scoring six goals in the two fixtures of the season gives me motivation in my claim to win the FUFA Juniors League title and Golden Boot this season. We are more fired up than ever and we want to win the league this year. The aim is nothing but to win the league and my personal achievements are supplements to the aim. Anaku said
Of course, I would like to retain the golden boot that I have won for two seasons running but what is more important is wining the league title. I want to score more goals than I scored in the past seasons. I believe as a team, we are more balanced than in the past and you can feel the psyche in the camp. The new additions like Jimmy Muber, Sunday and other have already hit the ground running. All the lads are showing how bad they want it. This is our time to win this league and we shall keep going till the end. He added.
Anaku has in the previous seasons been awarded the top scorer’s gong twice with 27 and 26 goals in the 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 seasons respectively
KCCA FC is seeded with Police, Maroons, URA, Vipers, Paidha Black Angels, Onduparaka and Ndejje University in the Treble group of the FUFA Juniors League 2018/19.
