KCCA FC gaffer Mike Hillary Mutebi has come out to give his views on the team’s last fixture of the 22nd edition of the CAF Champions League against Al Ahly in Alexandria, Egypt.
Mutebi spoke to www.kccafc.co.ug and said,
We are in Egypt to test ourselves against the best club in Africa. They did not achieve the status of “Club of the Century” by mistake they deserve it. We respect them as opponents but we do not fear them. We exemplified ourselves against them in Kampala and won against them. It’s this kind of belief that we carry into this return fixture in Alexandria, Egypt. Mutebi said.
The fans should expect a good, entertaining, end to end game. One where we will play with belief and with top class confidence. As an emerging force on the continent, we want to show that we can compete with these big boys and it’s in such games that we can show this. We have gained experience from this tournament and the players can show this by the confidence they have now when playing. He added
