On 17th March 2018, KCCA FC made history becoming the only football club from the Pearl of Africa to ever qualify to play in the group stages of the CAF Club Champions League.
KCCA FC became the first Ugandan Club to win the CECAFA Cup that was held in Kampala – Uganda in 1978.
In total, nine KCCA FC players are away on National duty. Five in South Africa for the COSAFA Chamionship and four in Abu Dhabi for a training camp ahead of AFCON 2019 that kicks off on 21st June in Egypt.
The development means that the 13 times league Champions have the most number of players from the same club on the side that traveled for the camp in Abu Dhabi.
