CONFIRMED: Kyambadde departs, leaves emotional message

Flick feet forward Allan Kyambadde has departed KCCA FC and joined Egyptian side El Gouna FC on a four-year deal.

The midfielder joined KCCA FC at the beginning of last season on a two-year deal with ambitions to win with KCCA FC.

Speaking to www.kccafc.co.ug on the day he joined KCCA FC, Kyambadde said.


I want to win with these players. I didn’t have to think twice when the club approached me. I wanted to join and their level of professionalism in doing things attracted me here. Every local footballer would like to play for KCCA FC.

Kyambadde went on to win the Philip Omondi tournament, Pilsner Super 8 and lift the Uganda Premier league with KCCA FC. The forward also became a regular on the National team “The Cranes “because of his top-class display in the league.

The former shirt 11 scored the goal that kick started KCCA FC’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign last year against Tanzania’s Mtibwa Sugar FC at Lugogo.

His performance in the local league caught the eye of the National team coach Sebastien Desabre (departed for Pyramids FC in Egypt) and thus became a regular Cranes squad member.

He played a big part for the Cranes in the AFCON 2019 and caught the eye of many scouts in Egypt. His recent outing with the Uganda Cranes had him score a finesse as the National side run over Somalia 4-1 in CHAN 2020 qualifier game.

Kyambadde unveiled at El Gouna FC

El Gouna FC had the the best offer tabled and after negotiations from both parties, the player has joined on a four-year deal until 2023.

I want to thank KCCA FC for the opportunity the club gave me and I will forever be grateful to them.
I remember joining a year ago and I wanted to win with the players at the club and my dream came true. I have won trophies with the club and shared many memories with the players and staff at the club. To everyone at the club, I would like to say Thank you for treating me as a son and my I pledge the greatest allegiance to you all.
