Five KCCA FC players traveled on Wednesday 29th May with the Uganda Cranes for the COSAFA Championship in South Africa.
The players are; Charles Lukwago (Goal keeper), Kizza Mustafa and Hassan Mustafa (Defenders), Muzamiru Mutyaba and Nicholas Kasozi (Midfielders). Thus meaning one goal keeper, two defenders and two midfielders from the 13 times league Champions.
In total, nine KCCA FC players are away on National duty. Five in South Africa for the COSAFA Chamionship and four in Abu Dhabi for a training camp ahead of AFCON 2019 that kicks off on 21st June in Egypt.
The Uganda Cranes players that traveled to South Africa for the COSAFA Championship include; (Goal Keeper) James Alitho, Charles Lukwago.
(Defenders) Paul Willa, Revita John, Isinde Isaac, Kizza Mustafa, Hassan Musana, Mujuzi Mustafa, Mbowa Paul Patrick
(Midfielders) Muzamiru Mutyaba, Kagimu Shafick, Kasozi Nicholas, Kayiwa Allan, Balinya Juma, Mucureezi Paul, Senkatuka Nelson, Anukani Bright.
(Strikers) Sserunkuma Dan, Daniel Isiagi, Birungi Michael, Ssenkatuka Nelson.
(Team Officials) Ochom Richard (Leader of delegation), Massa Geoffrey (Team Coordinator), Abdallah Mubiru (Head Coach), Livingstone Mbabazi (Assistant Coach), Sadiq Wassa (Goalkeeping Coach), Nakabago Emmanuel (Team doctor), Bumpejje Frank (Kits Manager), Bwanika Lawrence (Media Officer).
The Uganda Cranes will begin the tournament at the quarter final stage against Lesotho on Saturday 1st June 2019.
