KCCA FC captain Dennis Okot has indicated that the team’s main target is make sure they keep their stay at the top of the Azam Uganda Premier League table ahead of the game against Saints this Friday at the Champions Stadium in Matugga Mwerwerwe.

After a convincing 7-0 victory against Onduparaka last week, Okot believes what is at stake at the moment is to have a firm grip at the summit of the league.

We as a team we have our own target,we need that game tomorrow, everyone is alert of the table standing. Though we have some games in hand ahead of the second team, but our focus is to make sure we win tomorrow’s game and keep the table safe

OKot told www.kccafc.co.ug on Thursday evening moments before the team embarked at their last training session at Mandela National Stadium Namboole.

About the 3-5-2 formation that team manager Mike Mutebi has adopted at KCCA FC, Okot indicates they are comfortable with the system as players because it has brought them positive results.

We are like soldiers, any tactics given by the commander,we follow, as players,we are comfortable with the system because it has yielded us results

KCCA FC takes on the Saints this Friday at the champions stadium in Mwererwe and a win for Mike Mutebi’s charges will see the club move to 41 points, four above second placed SC Villa with a game in hand.
