Fresh from advancing to the first round of the 2017 Total CAF Champions League, KCCA FC will face Onduparaka in their seventeenth game of the Azam Uganda Premier League this Saturday at Lugogo.

Striker Geoffrey Serunkuuma scored both goals over two legs as KCCA FC eliminated CD Primeiro de Agosto 2-2 on aggregate.

The league leading striker will be aiming at helping the team attain three poitns agaisnt the Arua side but also increase on this tally.

We are in good shape as a team, used a lot on energy against de Agosto in Luanda but the bodies have recovered, we just need to fine tune ourselves going into the Saturday game

Serunkuuma told www.kccafc.co.ug after the Wednesday evening training session at Lugogo, he also added.

Am a striker but like I have always said, the team comes first, if I can’t score the goals I will help with assists but at the end of the day, we win as a team and loss as one

Serunkuuma has scored 10 league goals in 14 outings but he has a total 14 goals in 17 games this season, alongside Derrick Nsibambi, manager Mike Mutebi will be looking at the two to hold onto the summit of the sixteen team log.

We shall be counting on them for the goals, but we have so many options, that the good thing about this team, but we also need to be disciplined defensively, and not concede cheap goals but most importantly play a good game for the fans

Nsibambi as four league goals, Muzamir Mutyaba has netted five already and can be relied on as the other source of inspiration in front goal.
