Wakiso Giants FC vs KCCA FC

KCCA FC has been pitted against Wakiso Giants FC in the quarter finals of the FUFA Super 8.
The third edition of the FUFA Super 8 is slated for 4th to 14th August 2023.
The FUFA Super 8 tournament is played by the best eight teams of the previous StarTimes Uganda Premier League season and in this case the 2022/23 season.
KCCA FC were inaugural winners of the FUFA Super 8 in 2018 when they beat Onduparaka 2-0 in the final held at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
The next edition in 2019 had KCCA FC lose 2-0 to Vipers SC Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
This year’s edition will have classification matches for teams that will have lost the quarterfinals and third place play off games for teams that will have lost the semifinals.
KCCA FC will kick start the tournament on Tuesday 8th August 2023 against Wakiso Giants FC at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo at 4pm.
