KCCA FC gaffer spoke about his players’ inexperience in the CAF Champions League game against Esperance as the reason as to why a two-goal lead was squandered.
The naivety and inexperience of my players cost us. We should have won this game. With more experience we should have held on that 2-0 lead and even when they equalized we should have scored the third in a one on one situation but we did not. They (Esperance) had slightly better experience than us and that is how they beat us. But all in all the game was good and we will bounce back in the second leg, Mike Mutebi said.
KCCA FC play Esperance on 28th July at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, 4pm.
