The 2017 Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) Footballer of the Year this this Saturday will walk away with a land title.
The award that is named after Philip Omondi arguably the greatest player to wear the KCCA FC Jersey that was won last year by defender Joseph Ochaya.
The 2017 Philip Omondi Footballer of the Year Award will go to that player who exceedingly contributed to the success of KCCA FC in the 2016/2017 season and they will walk away with a land title too.
The Jimmy Kirunda Players’ player of the year who will be voted by the players themselves will be given Shs 1,000,000/=
The same cash price will go to the Tom Lwamga Most Disciplined Player, and the Fans’ Player of the Year, together with the Fans’ Branch of the year.
The recipients of the Jackson Mayanja Young Player of the Year together with the Fan of the Year will take home Shs500,000/=
All prizes will be accompanied by plaques at the awards that will take place on Saturday June 24th 2017, 6pm and will be hosted by the KCCA Executive Director Jennifer S Musisi at City Hall in Kampala.
KCCA FC won a 12th Azam Uganda Premier League title, a ninth FUFA Uganda Cup title and the 2016 FUFA Super Cup to complete a season treble.
