KCCA FC obliterated Synergy FC 9-0 in the second leg Semi Final of the 44th edition of Uganda Cup 2017/8 held at StarTimes Stadium.
Current cup holders KCCA FC showed immediate intent scoring in the 5th minute of the game through Patrick Kaddu’s clever lob over the keeper but credit goes to teenager Eric Ssenjobe whose long range ball found the forward man.
Jackson Nunda almost made it two for the hosts with a beautiful nutmeg and finish but the goal Keeper Peter Lubega saved to deny him. Ibrahim Sadam Juma then picked his spot and released a 25 yard belter that whistled inches off the upright.

With the aroma of beautiful football across the StarTimes Stadium, Paul Mucureezi’s 15-meter run found teenager Allan Okello, the youngster controlling with one touch and finishing with another in the 24th minute.
Quick exchange of passes between Nunda and Sadam saw the midfielder brought down in the box by Muhammad Yiga and referee pointed to the penalty spot. Kaddu held his nerve and slotted in to make it three for KCCA FC.

A minute later, Allan Okello picked the ball from midfield quickly exchanged with Sadam and slotted passed Lubega and into the net to ensure the hosts ended the opening stanza on a high.
After recess, Nunda got his name on the scorers list with a 20 yard screamer that nearly split the net apart.

Gaffer Mike Mutebi then introduced fresh legs in Steven Sserwadda and Solomon Okwalinga for Sadam Juma and Jackson Nunda. Youngster Sserwadda wasted no time getting his name on the scorers chat with a beautiful tap in in the 76th minute to stretch the lead to 5.
Cameo Okwalinga beat Ssazi Oscar and Yiga Muhammad in the midfield, had the time to look up and lobbed to Kaddu who controlled, looked up and slotted in his third for the day and sixth for KCCA FC in what you can dub as a text book goal.

If the build up to Kaddu’ goal was beautiful, then Sserwadda’s sole goal in the 85th minute was top class, the midfielder picked the ball at the center arch, turned around in 360 degrees and dashed forward leaving the visitors’ back four chasing shadows, beat custodian Lubega and tapped in the net in a typical picture book goal thus sending the crowd in a frenzy.

Just when it seemed over, Okwalinga put the icing on the cake, the midfielder picked his spot and shot in the net, getting his first KCCA FC goal
