Defending Champions of the Uganda Cup, KCCA FC have been drawn against Synergy FC in the Semi Finals of the 44th edition of the Uganda Cup .
KCCA FC Manager commented about the draw and said
“The draw is fair, Synergy is a good team and they will give us a challenge. The tie will not be an easy one but we will do our best and qualify for the finals. Our opponents have proven that they can play the big boys. They eliminated Proline FC to qualify for the Semi-Finals. They deserve to be here. We will approach this game with a lot of respect and we will see how far we can go”
The Semi Finals games will be held on 23rd, 27tth (our dates) and will be on a home and away basis.
Rules for qualification for the finals are;
The team with the most goals after the two ties will qualify for the finals or the team with a better away goal rule or the team that wins the penalty shootouts will qualify for the finals for the 44th edition of the Uganda Cup.
