Before they fly out for the return leg of the Total CAF Champions league preliminary round return leg against CD Primeiro de Agosto, KCCA FC will first negotiate the FUFA Uganda Cup Round of 32 tie against Lungujja Galaxy on Wednesday at Lugogo.

Much as it’s a do or die encounter, KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi wants to use the game to sharpen his players in front of goal, because it’s goals they will need in Luanda Angola on February 19.

We must be effective against Galaxy, because the way play, we create chances and we must take away those chances because the level we are targeting the big stage, you need to create chances and burry them at the same time

Mike Mutebi told www.kccafc.co.ug on Tuesday before the team embarked on their morning training session at Namboole, he also added.

We are obviously going to give some players a chances because we want to see how ready they are, some will play a few minutes but the bottom line is to play the KCCA FC way and win convincingly”

Tournament leading Paul Mucureezi is also optimistic of adding to his tally after grabbing a brace against Koboko Rising Stars at the Round of 64.

If given a chance to tomorrow’s game is working hard for the goal, the target is not scoring but putting the team first, creating chances for my teammates, helping the team defensively to make sure we register a win

KCCA FC had a trial match on Tuesday morning against maroons and registered a 2-0 victory, second half substitutes Tom Masiko gave the team the lead from 12 yards before Allan Okello doubled the lead.
