Watching the team’s three-hour training session at Lugogo tells you how serious Mike Mutebi’s boys are ready for the upcoming engagement with newly crowned Kenya champions Tusker FC at Lugogo.

Mutebi mainly worked with his first team comprising of Benjamin Ochan, Timothy Awany, Denis Okot, Muzamir Mutyaba, Isaac Kirabira, Geoffrey Sserunkuuma, Habib Kavuma, Joseph Ochaya, Derrick Nsibambi, Paul Mucureezi and Ronald Musana.

 

 

While Mutebi was perfecting formations with the first team players, his deputy, Morley Byekwaso handled the other players including those returning to full fitness like Lawrence Kasadha taking them through drills and shooting sessions.

We welcome the friendly match with Tusker FC with optimism because it is going to fine tune us for the Proline FC league match. We are going to field our strongest side because we can’t underrate Tusker that has just won a double in Kenya

Mutebi told www.kccafc.co.ug, he also anticipates his Tusker compatriot Paul Nkata to stretch KCCA FC to the limit because he knows the Uganda style of play and has over four Ugandan born players.

I have told my players to take that match seriously because it will bring us many lessons ahead of the league resumption. I’m only going to use determined players for this match

Mutebi tipped fast-rising winger Ronald Musana to shine against Tusker because he knows them inside out having had a spell in the Kenyan league.
