Teqball Federation, Uganda has handed over Teqball equipment to KCCA FC to enhance performance of players and officials at the club.
Teqball is a new sport which started in 2014 and official rollout of the sport started in 2017. Currently, the sport has been spread out in over 150 countries.
Teqball is a sport that originated from football and table tennis and is a fast growing sport that has been licensed to be part of the European and African games. There is hope that in 2026, the sport will feature at the Olympic games.
The President of Teqball Federation Owekitibwa Kabuuza Mukasa who was flanked by officials from Teqball Federation Ronald Kigundu (Executive Board Member), Sarah Nakanjako ( Coach and Referee), Moses Kigongo (Coach and Referee), Mahad (Teqball Trainee) had this to say;
It is a great pleasure to come here at KCCA FC for something special like this today as we hand over Teqball equipment to KCCA FC. This equipment will help the KCCA FC players to improve their accuracy, timing, decision making among others. We urge the KCCA FC team to supplement on what we have handed over today and go on to develop a KCCA FC Teqball Team that can even go on and represent the National Team in international competitions. This Teqball table serves games like TeqVolley, Beach Teqball, TeqTennis among others. Teqball can be played by under singles and doubles.

It is a great pleasure to receive this equipment from Teqball Federation that we trust will enhance performance of our players and improve their skill set, accuracy, timing and decision making. Our players will use this equipment to make themselves better on and also off the pitch.
