KCCA FC pick fourth win in four games. – UPL

KCCA FC 2-0 TOORO UNITED FC

KCCA FC picked fourth win in as many games to continue perfect league start.

An early goal from Davis Kasirye and a late goal from Julius Poloto is all KCCA FC needed to pick a a win against Tooro United FC.

In 6th minute, Brian Majwega controlled a good ball from Gift and shot at goal but his effort was spilled by the goal keeper.

Two minutes later, Yassar Mugerwa dribbled past two markers and his shot was saved by Tooro’s Lukyamuzi.

Majwega crossed in the box and Davis Kasirye leaped to head KCCA FC infront.

On 26 minutes, Yassar had his moment once again when he beat three markers and crossed in the box but his ball rolled out for a throw in.

Majwega dribbled past two markers and was brought down in the box by Tooro’s Ssegonja. Referee Siraj Mpyangu waved play on.

With five minutes to play in the first half, Anaku nutmegged two markers and surged forward but his final ball was struck poorly and cleared away by Tooro’s Serugo.

Gift Ali

In 44th minute, Kasirye was fouled at the edge of the 18 yard box. Anaku stepped up to take the resultant kick and his effort hit the side netting.

1-0 at halftime.

After recess, Kasirye dribbled his man and crossed beautifully in the box to an unmarked Anaku but his header flew inches wide with the Tooro keeper beaten on 51 minutes.

Wafula found himself in the 18 yard box and was teed up by Anaku. The former’s shot was parried wide by Tooro’s Lukyamuzi.

At the hour mark, Morley rung changes and introduced Mato and Poloto for Mugerwa and Anaku.

With 15 minutes to the end of the game, Lwanga Charles replaced Kasirye Davis.

On 80 minutes, Gift Ali played a good ball to Mato Rogers who found himself into space but his pass to Lwanga was intercepted and saved by Tooro’s custodian Lukyamuzi.

Achai Herbert

In 84th minute, Julius Poloto beautifully struck a freekick in the back of the net to double KCCA’s lead.

A minute later, Geofrey Wasswa and Brian Aheebwa then replaced John Revita and Gift Ali.

2-0 the final score
