KCCA FC convincingly walloped six goals past Lungujja Galaxy in the FUFA Uganda Cup round of 32 at the Philip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Wednesday evening.
Lungujja showed signs of comfort from the onset which made it an end to end game, but KCCA FC dominated possession.
It took Derrick Nsibambi 12 minutes to get the opener after he capitalized on a defensive lapse as Lungujja’s defense failed to deal with Geoffrey Serunkuuma’s through ball.
Nsibambi was left with Lungujja’s goalie Alex Semanda to beat and he made no mistake as he slotted home.
Three minutes later, Nsibambi released Tom Masiko with a brush header, the latter’s powerful shot left Semanda with no choice as the reigning league holders doubled their lead.

The tie was turned into a Nsibambi show as he was brought down in the forbidden area, Geoffrey Serunkuuma made it 3-0 from 12 yards.
Isaac Muleme and Vincent Kayizzi came on for Lawrence Bukenya and Paul Mucureezi respectively, at 65 minutes, the former broke away from his marker down the left, before picking out Sserunkuuma.
The league’s leading striker controlled before volleying home to complete his brace, taking his tally to 13 this season.

Muzamir Mutyaba came on for Brian Majwega and his trademark assist were on show, on 85 minutes the number 10’s corner met Nsibambi’s head and it rattled the crossbar before crossing the line.
There was room for Nsibambi to complete his hatrick in the 90th minute, again it was Mutyaba who released the young striker whose powerful shot couldn’t be stopped by Semanda in Lugujja’s goal.
It was a big boost for the side ahead of the Total CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg tie against CD Primeiro de Agosto on February 19 in Luanda.
