Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) continued an impressive run in the Azam Uganda Premier League as the champions picked a point off Bright Stars, maintaining the unbeaten run in six outings at the StarTimes Stadium Lugogo on Tuesday.
It was also the third clean sheet of the season for KCCA FC getting one less than the ones team kept in the first round of last season.
Quick feet forwards Kaddu, Tito Okello and Allan Okello linking up so well but the visitors will have their custodian Hamza Muwonge to thank on an evening he put up a man of the match performance.

Allan Okello came close twice, hitting the woodwork on the first attempt before watching on as his effort was pushed above the crossbar by Muwonge.
With five minutes to the end of the 1st half, Tito Okello released Paul Mucureezi only for the latter to shoot out wide.
At the start of the second half, Saddam Juma was introduced to the game, making his league debut for KCCA FC and Tito Okello was withdrawn, the former immediately announced his presence with a 45 yard attempt that whistled off the cross bar.

Allan Kateregga and Samuel Sekamatte were also introduced for Allan Okello and Julius Poloto respectively. The cameos took matters in their hands with brilliant displays and added life in the tie but Lady Luck wasn’t on KCCA FC’s side.
In the wee minutes of the game, Paul Mucureezi and Timothy Awany headed wide on the bounce and minutes away from the full-time, Saddam Juma collected the ball from 20 yards and sent a rocket inches out wide.
Stalemate is how it all ended as KCCA FC will turn focus on the October 28th tie against SC Villa in Masaka Recreation Ground.
