
KCCA FC were 3-2 winners over Bul FC in the inaugural Super 8 game held at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.
The hosts took the lead through debutant Allan Kyambadde who scored inside one and a half minutes from a beautiful pass from defender Filbert Obenchan sending the home fans in a frenzy. The offensive player almost made it two shortly after his opener but his strike was pushed out by visitors’ custodian Hannington Sebwalunyo.

Allan Okello and Muzamiru Mutyaba linked up well, the later released Mustafa Kizza whose effort went inches wide.
Three minutes from the halftime mark, Kyambadde controlled a well struck pass from Okello but his goal bound shot was saved by Sebwalunyo.

A minute and a half after recess, Muzamiru Mutyaba doubled KCCA FC’s lead off a well laid pass from teenager Okello.
Eight minutes later, Mustafa Kizza who had an amazing display struck his freekick in the top right corner to stretch the lead to three goals for KCCA FC.

Hamis Tibita then struck twice in a space of two minutes for Bul FC. The first goal a tap in and the second a penalty after Obenchan had fouled Villa Oromuchan.
In the 68th minute, Suleiman Mutyaba was then introduced for Muzamiru Mutyaba and Muwadda Mawejje for Mustafa Kizza.

Solomon Okwalinga came on for Allan Kyambadde in the 74th minute.
3-2 the final score. KCCA FC winning the inaugural Super 8 tournament and qualifying for the penultimate game of the tournament.
KCCA FC will play next in the Super 8 on the 14th August 2018 against a team that will be known after the draw for the next round is conducted.
