
KCCA FC made a huge come back winning 4-2 against CECAFA Club Champions Azam FC in goals galore international friendly game held at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.
The visitors took an early lead through Aggrey Morris who scored from the spot after Skipper Timothy Awany had fouled in the forbidden area hence getting himself booked by referee Ssali Mashood. The visitors doubled their lead two minutes later courtesy of Danny Lyanga’s close range tap in.
KCCA FC side being in unfamiliar situation at home, bounced back through a Muzamir Mutyaba header off a perfectly weighted cross from Muwadda Mawejje in the box on 16 minutes.

Skipper Awany then put the pieces to the puzzle together with a beautiful header off another Muwadda cross in the box at the stroke of halftime to restore parity for KCCA FC.
After recess, Allan Kyambadde made it three for KCCA FC with another header, the third on the day off another ball from Muwadda to Kizza and finally Kyambadde.

Tom Ikara was then swung into action with a point blank save from six yards to deny Tafadzwa Kutinyu.
Lawrence Bukenya was then withdrawn for Patrick Kaddu who joined the party with a tap in to make it four goals for KCCA FC.
A series off substitutes was then made for the hosts, Mike Mutyaba, Sadam Juma, Jackson Nunda and Eric Ssenjobe came on for Allan Kyambadde, Muzamir Mutyaba, Allan Okello and Mustafa Kizza respectively.
Sadam nearly scored the fifth but his acrobatic effort went inches wide out.
4-2 the final score. KCCA FC beating CECAFA Club Champions in a international pre-season friendly game. KCCA FC play Nyamityobora FC next in the Pilsner Super 8 game.
