Midfielder Ivan ‘Kojja’ Ntege was a force to reckon with as KCCA FC knocked Angolan side CD Primeiro de Agosto from the 2017 Total CAF Champions league .

KCCA FC advanced on the away goals rule after the tie over the two legs ended 2-2 on aggregate. Geoffrey Serunkuuma scored both goals- Home and away

It was however the tireless work of the midfield duo of Ivan ‘kojja’ Ntege and Isaac Kirabira that tamed the Agosto players in the centre

Isaac Kirabira (front) shields the ball from striker Geoffrey Serunkuuma during training at Lugogo on Thursday, Kirabira and Ntege have looked good in midfield every time they are played there together.

With hours to the Azam Uganda premier tie against Onduparaka on Saturday, Kojja has praised the spirit and level of focus in the camp.

Everyone is focused just like the two legs against Agosto, we badly want to win this tie for obvious reasons and the attitude is right, we just need to maintain it till Saturday

Kojja told www.kccafc.co.ug before adding that they will need to replicate a similar if not better performance than that against Agosto when the Arua based side that won the first leg 2-1 at the Betway Greenlight Stadium visits the Philip Omondi Stadium

We have to be aggressive if not even more, because a lot is at stake, winning that match keeps us on top of the log, maintains our home record but also our pride

KCCA FC are yet to drop a game at home, played eight league games, won all, scoring 19 goals and conceding just five.
