Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) manager Mike Mutebi is delighted with the timely recovery of defender Timothy Dennis Awany from an injury ahead of the game against Bright stars.
Mutebi indicates Awany’s recovery gives more stability to KCCA FC’s defence line given his calmness ability to read game situations.
” Timothy Awany has returned and he is going to play. He is a good addition because he gives us more solidity and composure given his calmness,” he told www.kccafc.co.ug before stating that the defender has been missed in the games he has not played.

” We have missed him in the two games he has not played because when he we was away, we brought in a new person and he had to first learn how play with Dennis Okot and Habib Kavuma who had formed a strong bond but his return gives us confidence at the back,” added the manager.
According to the manager, the doctors have given the defender the greenlight to play against Bright stars after overcoming a groin injury.

“He did not play against Police FC and Soana because he was not ready but the doctors have passed him fit and he will start tomorrow,” the manager confirmed.
KCCA FC takes on Bright stars on Tuesday at Phillip Omondi stadium before taking on Egypt’s Al Masry in the Total CAF Confederation cup on Saturday.
