Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) have the opportunity to complete a domestic double that has remained elusive since the club’s inception in 1963.
After successfully defending the league title, the focus now turns on winning the Uganda Cup this Thursday as KCCA FC takes on Paidha Black Angels at Betway Greenlight stadium in Arua district.
Team manager, Mike Hillary Mutebi has come out to state that KCCA FC go into this encounter as overwhelming favorites and thus they should go on to make sure they befit the status.
There is no doubt that we go into this game as overwhelming favorites, that is a fact. But this calls for extra effort to make sure we play to that status
The manager told www.kccafc.com before indicating that Paidha Black Angels will not be a walk in the park.
We respect them and I believe they are not in the finals by accident. They have played themselves to this stage so we accord them the respect they deserve
With the double target at stake, the manager confirms that this has pushed the team to work harder to break the jinx.

The team has been beefed up with the return of six players who were part of the Uganda Cranes that defeated Cape Verde 0-1 on Sunday in the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers.
These include Isaac Muleme, Benjamin Ochan, Derrick Nsibambi, Dennis Okot,Geoffrey Serunkuuma and Timothy Dennis Awany.
