4pm

KCCA FC will make their final trip of the 2023/23 season when they visit Busoga United on Tuesday at Kakindu Stadium, Jinja.

KCCA FC are hoping they can overcome a relegation battling Busoga United FC by not just winning but doing so with a huge margin of goals to cut the gap of goals between them and the table leaders Vipers.

KCCA FC are second on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table but are tied on 49 points with the leader. The difference between the first and second are 6 goals.

The Cityzens were 1-0 winners against BUL FC in the previous fixture at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo while hosts Busoga United were 4-1 winners over Arua Hill SC on the road.

Busoga United FC lie 13th with 27 points on the table just a position above the relegation zone but have four more points than 14th placed Blacks Power FC.

Goals will be very crucial at this stage and KCCA FC must look beyond just winning games but rather win with a big margin.

The last time both sides met in the league earlier this season, KCCA FC were 2-1 winners over Busoga United FC.

We want to go to Jinja with a mentality of winners. We want to get three points and score highly and we can only do that by sticking to our principles and playing our way. We do not have any major injury worries. The same players that have missed the previous games due to injury are still out but recovering well. Kizza, Wabyoona, Ayella are all recovering well.
