Second placed KCCA FC has switched focus to the Uganda Premier League after that shock exit from the Uganda Cup last Friday.

Fifth placed Express FC have 29 points from 18 games and are 10 points behind KCCA FC.

Express FC lost the previous league game 1-0 against Busoga United FC away in Bugembe.

Dennis Iguma has returned from injury and will be part of the squad that will travel to play Express FC.

Forwards Sadat Anaku and Kaddu Patrick have returned from injury and will make the travelling squad to Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku for the derby.

Mugume Ashraf suffered a knock in the previous game against Bright Stars FC and will be assessed. He is a doubt.

Dominic Ayella is away due to school commitments.

Yassar Mugerwa and Brian Majwega are ruled out of the derby due to illness and suspension respectively.

Peter Magambo, has stepped up his rehabilitation. The defender will return to full team training this month.

Wasswa Emmanuel, Wasswa Geofrey and Kayanja Brian remain long term absentees. The players underwent surgery and are undergoing rehabilitation.

We need to go there and play with confidence and show we want it more than them. That is how you win such games. We have prepared every player to be ready for the task at hand. We need to have the mental toughness and focus on the game. We shall have Iguma and Anaku back for the derby. For Kaddu’s case, we will continue to assess him and we are hopeful that he will most likely make the final squad for the game.
